History

History at every turn

The Lister Arms is a 17th Century Coaching Inn which stands proudly in the heart of the village of Malham opposite the Village Green. It was named after Thomas Lister of Gisburn Park, who once owned this beautiful stone building and became the first Lord of Ribblesdale in 1797.
